Longue Vue House and Gardens  
7 Bamboo Road. On the 1st Sunday of every month, free admission for Louisiana families. Bring a picnic, explore the children’s Discovery Garden, and stroll the gardens. Reservations required. 1–5 pm. Longuevue.com

Audubon Zoo  
6500 Magazine St. On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, Orleans Parish residents with ID proof of residency get free admission with up to four guests to Audubon Zoo. audubonnatureinstitute.org. 10 am–5 pm. 

Botanical Garden   
5 Victory Ave. Each Wednesday, Louisiana residents receive free admission to the New Orleans Botanical Garden, courtesy of The Helis Foundation. neworleanscitypark.com/botanical-garden. 10 am–8 pm.    

Thursdays 

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas   
1 Canal St. On the 1st Thursday of each month, Orleans Parish residents with ID proof of residency get free admission with up to four guests to Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. audubonnatureinstitute.org. 10 am–5 pm.   

Free Admission to Ogden Museum
